Determining Your Advising Needs

International Student Advisors and Sponsored Student Advisors are available for in-person and phone appointments and drop-in advising each day. To make the most of your time with an international student advisor, learn more about advising and appointments in the table below.

If you would like to meet with a sponsored student advisor related to the financial sponsorship you are receiving from a government agency, company, home embassy, or home university, please schedule directly with our sponsored student advisors. This may include questions about negotiating with your sponsor, billing, holds, letter requests, financial guarantees, etc.

Workshops are offered periodically throughout the term, with notifications sent via email and posted in University Plaza, Suite 130. You may register online through our appointment scheduler for in-person OPT workshops. Online workshops are available through your Canvas account.
