Heather Rowell is the IE3 Global Program Advisor for internships in the Africa and Middle East regions. Her work supports program promotion, applicant assessment, in-country advisement, program and intern evaluation, and day-to-day management of the international internship programs. Heather's professional background has focused on assessment, advising, placement, program support and training. Heather earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2002 from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. She is currently working toward a Master in Arts in International Education from the School for International Training (SIT). Heather lived in rural Kenya from 2006 to 2008 as a Public Health Volunteer with the Peace Corps. From 2008 to 2014 she worked in the Placement and Assessment Office at Peace Corps’ headquarters in Washington, D.C. supporting incoming volunteers and program goals for over 60 countries.
