Dr. Grace Atebe is the Director, Office of International Services (IP) at Oregon State University. Previously (2009-2016), she served as the Assistant Director, Student Support and Development in the Office of International Students and Scholars at West Virginia University. She received her MBA from the University of Nairobi, Kenya and her EdD in Educational Leadership Studies from West Virginia University.
Prior international experience includes, involvement in various interdepartmental committees to include the Immigration Oversight Committee, Diversity Week Planning Committee, International Students Onboarding Committee, West Virginia Centre for International Programs Executive Board, and the Crisis Response Team. She also institutionally coordinated several grant funded acculturation workshops.
Most recently Grace has attended and participated in presentations at NAFSA (Association of International Administrators) National and Regional Conferences, as well as EducationUSA Forums. The general theme of the most recent presentations has focused on diversity, international education, international student trends, challenges, and adjustment to U.S. institutions. Outside of work, Grace enjoys traveling, reading and sports.
