Caine Francis currently serves as Interim Director of the Office of Global Opportunities (OSU GO), leading its efforts to increase access to education abroad for all OSU students. He first joined OSU GO in 2015 as the Senior International Programs Consultant, leading the team of International Program Consultants in supporting academic advisors, faculty, and international coordinators at the college and department level to increase student participation in education abroad. He develops systems, policies, and procedures to improve best practices in curriculum integration and outbound program development. Prior to joining the OSU GO, Caine served as the International Programs Coordinator in both the OSU College of Engineering (2011-2015) and the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland College Park (2008-2011). He has significant experience in outbound program development, faculty training and support, and systems for curriculum integration. With an MS in Applied Anthropology, he brings cultural perspectives and methodology to the work of creating processes and systems to internationalize higher education.
