Cameroon is a nation of diversity. Its tropical rainforest, western highlands, coastal mangroves, central savannah, and northern semi-desert are home to more than 200 ethnic groups and even more languages and dialects. The program base in is Yaoundé, the political capital and second largest city. Five to six weeks are spent here, while the rest of the fifteen weeks are spent on excursions throughout Cameroon.
