This is a highly competitive undergraduate national scholarship, with an extensive application. It is best suited to those who have an interest in US national security and a desire to work for the federal government.
It is recommended that you begin the application process 2-3 months in advance of the deadline.

Requirements: Language must be an emphasis of study abroad program; Must complete a service requirement with a US federal government agency upon graduation; US citizen at time of application.
Award Amount: Summer: up to $8,000 (Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics majors only) Semester: up to $10,000 Academic Year: up to $20,000
