1. Make sure your application is complete.
  2. Meet with your academic advisor to plan your course selection and degree requirements to meet while abroad.
  3. Learn about how to use your financial aid and apply for more scholarships.
  4. Make an appointment with the Travel Medicine Clinic at Student Health Services to take care of routine immunizations and learn about how to stay healthy abroad.
  5. Make sure you've got a passport that will be valid 9 months beyond the end date of your program.
  6. Wait until accepted to the program to purchase plane tickets.
  7. Start the online BlackBoard orientation after you receive the welcome e-mail and have been added as a user.
  8. Complete necessary forms and paperwork required of your program.
  9. Go over all of the information under the Academic section of website.
  10. Inform program administrators if your plans change.
  11. Research how to stay healthy and safe while abroad.
