The International Resource Center (IRC) is located on the Corvallis campus and provides a place to practice English and bring together various cultures in the community. Various cultural organizations put on events throughout the year, and there are multiple conversation opportunities each week.

Crossroads International is a non-religious, non-political volunteer organization that oversees the Conversation School. The school offers beginning to advanced English classes which meet twice a week. The cost is minimal and limited childcare may be available for an additional cost. The school is not only a place to learn English, but also offers a social environment where women from all over the world can make friends and feel more at home in the community and culture. The Corvallis Multicultural Literacy Center offers English Conversation Groups at no cost to students, faculty, their family members or community members. Groups meet twice weekly for one hour at 128 SW 9th Street in Corvallis.
The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program is presented by the English Language and Culture Institute in partnership with LBCC. ELCI provides instruction for students with a wide range of English language proficiency and personal needs.
